This could mean going to a park or zoo and looking at the trees, insects, or animals.
This could mean that you put a board on the grass in your backyard and leaving it for a week. Then pick it up and describe what happens and what you find.
This could be describing a different habitat that you visited on vacation sometime this summer. Tell about the different plants, animals, and weather you explored.
You can also visit all sorts of exciting places like the Liberty Science Center, American Museum of Natural History, Field Station Dinosaurs, the Turtle Back Zoo, or other STEM place that you might want to visit with your Science Buddy. Check out the Science Near You page for ideas.
For any of these experiences, write a Mission Report about what you did and what you learned. Draw a picture of something that was really memorable for you.
I hope you have had fun this summer! Please bring your Mission Reports to Mrs. Prosen by the end of September to gain your Brain Power Points and prizes!
